How to start working at home?

With the current Coronavirus scare, working online is advised but how to start work at home?
Before the coronavirus pandemic started, I have been receiving inquiries on how to start working at home or they are interested in shifting from an office-based job to work at home. Moreover, with the current events quarantine and lockdown, most workers are not allowed to go to work for compliance since our government announced community quarantine and we need to stay at home. For some, it is a big burden for loss of income, no work no pay. Now is the best time to work at home.

StorytellingI have been working at home for almost 7 years and it's a bittersweet journey with lots of learnings and experience. Back then working online is not so common, there's no training and all I have is an old notebook and pocket wifi. I didn't know what to do and where to start but I still gave it a try.
Most people think working at home is easy and flexible you can work anytime you want. Well, it's…

How To Stay Healthy This Summer During Lockdown

Summer is officially here. Expect warmer days as PAGASA officially declares the start of the dry season. With the current CoVid19 pandemic there's probably no summer trips for us.
While it might seem like a totally scary time right now, know that all these cancellations and precautions are for the good of the public, as officials work to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Summer calls for a change in routine, a revamped diet, and of course, a new exercise regimen that suits this weather. The onset of warm weather can make your body more vulnerable to different types of diseases and certain health guidelines must be followed to ensure a healthy summer.

Here are a few tips to stay healthy this summer during a lockdown:1. Eat healthy food

Forget those large carbohydrates and heavy meals, an increase of fats can raise a lot of heat in the body. Eat light, small and frequent meals. Focus on fresh vegetables and fruits that have high water content like watermelons.

2. Drink plenty of water

Keep yo…

How About Them?

At the end of the day, the poor will suffer the most.

Most parts of the country are currently on community quarantine. School classes have been suspended, mass gatherings like meetings are also prohibited.  Businesses shortened their operating hours and some opted to close temporarily.
While this is favorable to most of us, stay at home and wait for updates.
But for others, they need to go out and work and there's been a lot of negative comments in regards to this.

But...
How about casual workers? the small street vendors, the public utility jeepney and taxi drivers?
How about those people who are forced to go out and hustle for their everyday living?
That's the big dilemma we are facing right now and WE as citizens must widen our understanding of other people's lives.
In other countries, when they announced "lockdown" everyone obeys and they don't need to do anything but to wait because their government supplies their basic needs like food.
In our country that is no…

Hello 2020

New Year, New Goals
Happy new year everyone!  Well, it's a month late for greeting but I guess it's safe to say my new year starts in February.
My last days of 2019 had me beaten so bad, I was jobless and demotivated my entire January, and there's nothing really I can do about it. Number one downside of being a freelancer is you don't get a hold of the job or client no matter how good you performed or how long you have been with them, no law or rules can reprimand them if ever they don't want you for no reason and I have to accept that. It just really sucks though sometimes, but it is what it is.
Now I have to get myself moving in a different direction and push myself forward which is really hard especially lots of people are transitioning to freelance work. Nonetheless, I have to, I have to cause I bills to pay, mouths to feed and I want my family to live comfortably and there's nothing wrong with that. So even I got beaten up so bad I have to fight back an…

Risk for Love

You question the morals and values, it's not idealism it's a reality we need to consider, in fact, it's basic decency that must be met. Once you opened yourself to such low values and it becomes a norm and your comfort, you will just accept whatever less that's offered and placed in the table cause you cannot ask for more than what you could have been. Every wrong you think is right as long as you can justify it and sugar coat it with what you think good intentions, unfortunately, that's not how it is, good intentions mixed with bad doings will still end up in chaos. But we live in very sad reality, in order to follow the path of love, we must throw away our standards and morals and call it risk and think that's love.

We all have secrets to bury, but sometimes they come back from the grave.

Cathedral Cave and Cliff Carabao Island

A stunning combination of warm crystal clear waters, lush green fields, and serenity.
A small island full of wonders and breathtaking view that will make you impossible not to fall in love with this place.  Cathedral cave and cliff diving site are located on the east coast of the island in a small town of San Jose. This is one of the famous and must-visit spots when in Romblon, owned and operated by a local and under the protection of DENR because of the stunning stalagmites and stalactites found in the Cathedral cave. They are quite strict when entering the cave you are not allowed you to take or touch any of the protected rocks which of course very understandable.

From the entrance, there's just a small fee of Ph100 for the maintenance of the place and it's super worth it once you get the place. We walked down a short muddy trail leading you to the ocean, and there's the breathtaking sea view and the water is super clear and blue.

We visited the other side first where …
